The AlkeMist is a skincare device that turns water into a fine mist, allowing you to hydrate and refresh your skin anytime without directly touching your face.

Once connected [see instructions], the device uses ultrasonic vibrations to transform the water into a fine mist free from any toxic gases and aerosols, providing deep hydration and enhancing skin elasticity.

Using the AlkeMist is simple and intuitive;

Weighing just 115g, 13.5cm tall and 3.5cm wide, the AlkeMist is slightly smaller than a typical mobile phone, making it comfortable to hold, use and carry around.

Absolutely! AlkeMist delivers a refreshing mist that hydrates the skin, refreshes makeup and allows layering and blending of products without smudging or ruining the finish.

Locate the charging port on the bottom of the device and remove the cover. Connect the included charging cable to a power source, then plug the other end into your device to start charging. Full battery charge time = 3 hours.

  • Low battery – orange light.
  • Charging battery – flashing green light.
  • Full battery – stable green light.

Yes! AlkeMist’s compact design and secure, leak-resistant capsule ensure convenient and worry-free skincare hydration on the go. Perfect whether you’re flying, commuting to work, or simply enjoying at home.

In case your AlkeMist device does not mist properly, several issues may cause this problem. Here are some steps to fix the problem:

  • Air bubble: The problem may be due to a simple air bubble. Gently shake the device, then turn on again normally.
  • Check battery: Make sure your device has enough battery power and is fully charged.
  • Detached capsule: The capsule may not have been properly attached. Check out our information page for step-by-step instructions on how to connect and disconnect capsules.

The product warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase, according to the Consumer Protection Law.

To activate your warranty, please email Info@houseofakoi.com attaching the receipt/order number received at the time of purchase.

FAQ Candle Wax

Our candle wax is crafted from pure, fully refined plant-based waxes, ensuring a clean burn without the presence of paraffin, petroleum, or any known allergens.

Our candle wax set is an all-inclusive package which contains premium vegan candle wax, candle wicks, candle decorations and complimentary domestic shipping for purchases over 250 ILS (150$ for international orders) which provides an effortless journey into the art of candle crafting.

Your possibilities are limitless with LumoSpheres! Ensure safety by using fireproof containers crafted from non-combustible materials like glass, metal, or ceramics.

  • Ensure the wick is positioned away from the container’s edges to prevent potential shattering.
  • Use containers with a minimum width of 8cm to prevent wax from sticking to the sides.

Insert the wick into the wax, leaving approximately 0.5 cm exposed for lighting it. Make sure wick reaches the bottom of the selected container. If the wick is far out, it may reduce burn time. 

Absolutely! You may invert the wick to bury the melt pool, or simply trim and reuse the wick, minimizing waste and creating a brand new candle.

  • Be aware that cutting the wick may reduce burn time.

If you run out of wicks, you may easily replenish your supply by purchasing wax-covered wicks from any craft store near you. Alternatively, you may conveniently order them from our website.

Yes, you can decorate your candles. Ensure decorations are at least 8 cm away from burning wicks or fire for safety.

Yes! Pour the wax gently on top of the water’s surface (with a minimum height of 4 cm), ensuring water does not contact the wick’s base. Then simply light the top of the wick normally. 

  • The wax is reusable even after contact with water. Just strain the wax from the water and ensure they are evenly spread out to dry completely before reuse.

No. The colored candle wax versions are not suitable for floating candles. 

Derived from sustainable plant-based sources like palm, soy, olive or coconut, vegan wax is inherently renewable, biodegradable and an eco-friendly alternative to traditional waxes.

With its higher melting point, it ensures longer burn times for candles and produces minimal soot, creating a cleaner and healthier indoor environment.

The burn times for our wax vary based on the candle you create, influenced by factors like candle size and wicks. Our 500gr set offers up to 100 hours of burning time, while the 1kg set provides over 100 hours of burning time.

We provide 15cm long wicks in every order for your customization. 

Our Candle Wax is 100% plant-based, contain zero animal derivatives, are cruelty-free, and undergo no animal testing. 

  • Our wax is nonedible and is not to be digested.

If a LumoSpheres candle is accidentally spilled, it will self-extinguish as the wax suffocates the flame. You can easily scoop up the spilled wax, gently clean it and continue normal use.

Our preferred method is to simply blow the candle out gently. Alternatively, you may use a flame snuffer. 

Drop 3-4 drops around the candle wick, then light wick normally. Alternatively, use them in your oil burner by pouring 3-4 drops on top and lighting the candle below.

  • Do not pour oil directly on the wick or on a burning fire.
